Mad About: Badger Balm

I am obsessed with chapstick. Yeah, I am one of those people who have become addicted. My boyfriend doesn’t use it because he knows that once you start using, you can’t stop. I’m ok with my addiction though. I’d rather have sweet tasting, soft lips than dry, cracked lips. (Oddly enough, Nick’s lips are perfectly kissable. He must have bionic lips to make it chapstick-free in the mile high city. My lips are dry from the second I get off the plane until I get back home to the land of humidity.)

My favorite lip balm of all time is made by Badger Balm out of Gilsum, NH. I love it so much that I bought tubes of it to for some of the special ladies in my life for Christmas. I adore the Vanilla Bean flavor. It has has a hint of  mocha and makes me taste like a vanilla latte. I love wearing it because it’s all natural, organic, and carcinogen-freesomething hard to find in most chapstick recipes these days. To make it even more loveable, it uses Fair Trade certified Cocoa Butter. I can rest easy knowing that I’m donning responsible chapstick.

If you’re close to the end of your current tube, or are a product whore (like myself) in search of another great brand to try, get some Badger Balm. It comes in a tin or a tube in several succulent flavors. It’s a delicious little snack for your lips!

Edit:  last night I was rummaging through my purse and found five tubes of chapstick—I even have two of the same kind! I think it’s official that I’m addicted to chapstick. But as I stated earlier, I love Badger Balm the mostest!
