The Dainty Dish

I couldn’t miss the opportunity to introduce my new baby girl, Lola.  I just got her during our little sabbatical and she is absolutely the new love of my life.  Albeit she is also the waker of my dreams, chewer of my shoes, and distractor of my work, but she is worth every little annoyance.  As an unmarried, childless, working woman, I had very little responsibilities at home before this bundle of fur came into my life.  Well, a new era is dawning, gentle reader, and I am tired, frustrated, and super happy all at once.  Bravo to all you mothers out there… at least when my baby’s bad she can go in the kennel!  But seriously, Lola has made me realize how wonderful, fulfilling, and important having something or someone to care for is in life.  Nurturing something living sure is a pretty, pretty thing.
